Test our knowledge in recognising some local and more distant beaches through their human and physical features. 

We played a fun game of "Top Trumps" to compare their fun factor, human score and physical features score.

Maths

This week in maths we have been learning about the composition of numbers.  We have been making numbers with dienes, blocks and bead strings and representing numbers with drawings and part, part whole models.

In our maths meetings we have been learning about calendar maths; days of the week and months of the year, counted in multiples of 2s, 5s and tens, and have been recalling all the numbers that make totals of 10!

What a lot of learning for our first couple of weeks!
