Art Intent
To inspire children using the work of local and famous artists and crafts people by studying and imitating their styles. Children are provided with a range of experiences and opportunities to explore a variety of media and mediums which enables them to build on prior art learning and express their individuality and creativity.
Parent Open Classroom Event - Canopic Clay Jars Year 6
Parents were invited into school to explore their child's learning in Art The children shared their learning journey: exploring ceramic artists; the process of how canopic jars were made and the colour palette used; skills needed when working with clay and decoration.
