Geography Intent
To equip children with the geographical skills, knowledge and vocabulary to develop their understanding, fascination and experiences of the world we live in and their place in it.
Children will learn in each year group:

Human and Physical Geography
Geographical skills and fieldwork
Place knowledge
Throughout your child's time at Springwood they will explore a range of countries including France, United States of America, Australia, Ivory Coast, United Kingdom and Nepal.
Open Events for parents
Throughout the year, there will be many opportunities for parents to come into class, share their Geography learning and explore our fantastic grounds.
Year R exploring their surroundings and using Google Maps to identify features of our school environment.
