At Springwood Federation, we believe in nurturing curious minds and adventurous spirits. Our school is set within the most beautiful natural surroundings – from our peaceful pond to the enchanting forest and flourishing meadow. Here, your children will explore and observe the wonders of nature, spotting foxes darting between the trees, squirrels scampering overhead, and insects busy at work. These special encounters help foster a lifelong love for the natural world.

Our outdoor spaces are full of opportunities for imaginative play and hands-on learning. Children can splash and experiment in the water play area, cook up mud pies in the outdoor kitchen, and swing through the air on our rope swings. They can build, climb, create, and collaborate using crates, rocks, musical instruments, paint, sand, and more. Every corner of our grounds invites children to explore, express themselves, and, most importantly, learn and have fun!

Indoors, we’ve created a warm, inspiring environment where creativity blossoms. Children are encouraged to follow their own interests and make independent choices from a rich selection of open-ended resources. Whether it’s shaping playdough, dressing up for a magical adventure, constructing with loose parts, painting with powerful colours, or diving into the small world to bring dinosaurs roaring back to life – every moment is an opportunity for imagination to soar.
