Bikeability
During Bikeability week, the children were able to perform basic checks on their bikes and learn how to be safe when riding their bikes. They used this knowledge and learnt how to be a sensible road user by completing turns, riding to junctions and signaling for other road users.
Harvest Soup
As part of our learning about Harvest, Year 6 made Harvest style soup. They investigated different types of soups, researched famous chefs, studied the nutritional values of different soups before creating their own delicious examples. This involved cutting skills, working as part of a team and purposefully evaluating their own recipes.
