Positivity Party
It has been so wonderful to see those at home and those in school partying to celebrate mental health week. In school, pupils completed mindfulness colouring, created their own art pieces based on the 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse', made chalk pictures on the playground and had a go at making music using basketballs. We were delighted to receive so many photos of pupils at home baking cakes, making traditional dishes or decorations such as positivity banners to brighten up your homes. We had a wonderful day and we hope you did too!
Mega Challenge Monday
We have had some brilliant examples sent in of the optional task of Mega Challenge Monday set by Mrs Livingstone this week. We have seen someone who made red velvet cupcakes and found the items required to make delicious treats and others finding interesting items such as a keyboard and a red hole punch! One of you has even thought outside the box to make it into a message linked with the 'Positivity Party' on Friday! We are thoroughly enjoying seeing your faces and the interesting ways you are completing the challenge!
Science 22.01.2021
We had fun finding different materials to test this morning. We hope you did too!
'This has been some of the best science ever! I love mixing and we managed to make gravy!'

Remote Learning 15.1.21
We hope you enjoyed your first wider curriculum day: science, history, RE and PSHE. Every Friday, will contain these subjects as a different end to the week!
Pupils in school really enjoyed finding out the different properties of materials in science, and wanted to share what they did in school with you at home. They hope you had as much fun as they did and did not make as much mess!
If you are struggling with your remote learning, please send an email to the year six mailbox and a member of the year 6 team will be able to help you.
They may phone you so please look out for a No Caller ID number, as this is likely to be one of the team!
Super start and so proud of the remote learning we have seen!
